Smart electricity meters can be reset, but this needs permission and instructions. Reset electricity meter
The reset can be realized through 485 port by HHU, but the there are limited times for the reset. It should be returned to the factory in case of beyond limitaiton.
1. First, we need to prepare a 485 port to insert it into the AB port
2. Connect the other end of the connecting wire to the two interfaces at the lower right corner of the smart electricity meter.
3, long press the reset button of the electricity meter, ten seconds later you can hear the dripping sound.
4. Connect the smart electricity meter to the computer through the 485 port, reset it with the reset program, and the smart electricity meter is reset successfully.
How to reset the IC card multi-functional electricity meter?
Reset card is required for the reset to refund the electricity bill to the card. If it is overdue, supplement needs to be made first. We should insert the reset card to reset the electricity meter. But the accounts of the electricity meter and reset card should be the same, otherwise it is not allowed.

The installation faults

There are mainly two reasons for this: one possibility is that the metering verification department did not switch on after the test activity or did not give the order for switching on. Another possibility is that the wrong signal shows up during the installation process.
Operation Faults
The electricity meters suddenly switch off during operation, mainly because of overload power consumption for long time, which commonly happens in all small businesses and household’s factory. Long time overload operation has a serious effect on the service life of the relay. If the temperature is too high, it is extremely easy to cause fire in overload current. When it flows through the contact point, the increased heat might continually deteriorate the working environment, and as a result to lead to the disconnection or burning of the built-in relay.
Specifically, you can check whether the following items are intact
1. Check whether the appearance of the electricity meter is damaged or burned, and whether the seal is in good condition;
2. Check whether the display screen of the electricity meter is complete and whether there is any fault such as black screen;
3. Press the button to check whether the clock, time period, voltage, current, phase sequence, power and power factors of the electricity meter are normal.
The remote control fails
Remote control is a big features of smart meters, but sometimes the actual application of the remote control of intelligent control is not very stable, particularly when the meter in a high load, if smart electricity unit within the relay contact deforms, it can affect the influence of the meter reading signals, and when the meter reading is interrupted, we need also check whether the smart electric meter is connected to the Internet network not and the concentrator is not damaged or not etc.
