News - Linyang Energy Continuously Won the Bid of Intelligent Power Distribution Technology Project

Since the third quarter of 2018, Linyang Energy has won the bids of intelligent power distribution technology project of Guiyang Power Supply Bureau of Guizhou Power Grid Company, Zhaoqing Power Supply Bureau of Guangdong Power Grid, Guangdong Power Grid Electric Power Research Institute and Yunnan Power Grid Company, etc.

1. Winning the scientific and technological project of Guiyang Power Supply Bureau of Guizhou Power Grid Corporation

On July 27, 2018, Linyang Energy won the bid for the Guizhou Power Grid Company Guiyang Power Supply Bureau Science and Technology Project - Distribution Network Wireless Multi-Mode Hybrid Communication Network Mode and Device Development Project.

Main Research Contents are:

● Research is based on the application mode of wireless multi-mode hybrid communication technology in distribution network.  According to the complex environment of karst landform and combined with the characteristics of current mainstream wireless communication technology, the basic communication technology selection and multi-mode hybrid communication technology Compatibility research test work is to be carried out.
● It studies wireless multi-mode hybrid communication networking solution, and the networking mode of wireless multi-mode hybrid communication technology, and implements the multi-mode communication mode scheduling function centered on the gateway forwarding node. The Research is made based on multi-communication terminal and the networking mode of the communication base station.
● Design the communication device according to the principle of low power consumption, good compatibility, easy expansion, and solid structure. The development equipment includes the following two types: a multi-mode hybrid communication base station and a multi-mode hybrid communication device.

This project mainly solves the influence of some geographical environments such as karst landforms in Guizhou area on the communication system in the distribution network. It studies a wireless communication mode——wireless multi-mode hybrid communication technology, which can adapt to the characteristics of wide-area self-organizing network in the operation of complex geographical conditions and power scarce environment. It developed the wireless ad hoc network communication module and device based on the operating environment of power distribution equipment in complex geographical conditions, which has the characteristics of Internet of Things and Internet compatibility, plug and play, etc., and can effectively solve the communication problem of the distribution network.

2. Winning the bid of the science and technology project of Guangdong Power Grid Zhaoqing Power Supply Bureau

On September 3, 2018, Linyang Energy won the bid of the science and technology project of Zhaoqing Power Supply Bureau of Guangdong Power Grid - Research on the monitoring technology of power distribution equipment based on the Internet of Things and the development of remote inspection platform. The main research contents are as follows:

➧ Research on Key State Sensing Technology of Modular Power Distribution Equipment for Internet of Things Technology

By using the technology of RFID and sensors, it studies condition monitoring for power distribution equipment, including equipment condition monitoring and operational environment monitoring, and it also studies building hierarchical and distributed power distribution equipment monitoring architecture system.

➧ Research on Monitoring Data Communication Technology of Power Distribution Equipment Based on Internet of Things Technology

The research applies to reliable data transmission technology of power distribution equipment in different operating environments such as outdoor station building, outdoor cabinet, underground station house and overhead line, and transmits the distribution equipment status data to the application system.

 Development of distribution equipment monitoring devices and remote inspection platforms based on Internet of Things technology

It develops modular monitoring devices for a variety of power distribution equipment, as well as data interfaces with intelligent power distribution equipment such as smart on-column switches and intelligent ring network cabinets, and also develops power distribution equipment monitoring and remote inspection platforms based on monitoring devices and data interfaces. By using cloud computing, fuzzy recognition and other intelligent computing technologies, the massive data and information are analyzed and processed to achieve all day status monitoring of equipment operating parameters and environmental parameters, as well as independent analysis of power distribution equipment status evaluation and risk assessment.

The main purpose of the research is to realize remote inspection of power distribution links based on Internet of Things technology and wireless sensor network technology. Through the deployment of intelligent sensor networks, online monitoring of lines and electrical equipment, real-time monitoring of key parameters of power grids, and fault warnings are realized, and power grid safety monitoring and emergency response capabilities are improved. Environmental information and status monitoring information are collected by sensors to achieve inspection. In-depth and automated analysis and decision-making of data and it can help guide inspections, improve defect management capabilities, realize early warning of defects and failures, and reduce accident losses caused by equipment hidden dangers and defects.

3. Successfully winning the bid of the equipment procurement contract of Guangdong Power Grid Electric Power Research Institute

On September 18, 2018, Linyang Energy won the bid of the equipment procurement contract of Guangdong Electric Power Research Institute - modular power distribution equipment and supporting components. The equipment includes 3 sets of power processing unit, 3 sets of communication processing unit, 3 sets of analog quantity acquisition unit, 3 sets of digital input unit and 3 sets of digital output unit.

The modular power distribution equipment and supporting components are selected from three typical modular power distribution equipment (DTU/FTU/switch cabinet automation complete equipment controller) as the research objects for the development and test of the test platform to realize the functions of distribution lines, which are Telesignization, telemetering, Telecontrol and telecommunication, protection logic (regular protection, voltage and current feeder automation).

Linyang Energy's modular power distribution terminal accessed the test platform of the Guangdong Power Grid's Electric Power Research Institute. Linyang Energy's R&D strength was well recognized by Guangdong Power Grid Corporation and was one step ahead in the promotion and application of the next generation intelligent power distribution terminal of China Southern Power Grid.

4. Winning the tender of the distribution network products of Yunnan Power Grid Corporation

On September 30, 2018, Linyang Energy successfully won the bidding of the transient characteristic fault indicator and the remote transmission cable type fault indicator framework. This is the first time that our company won the tender of the distribution network product of China Southern Power Grid, which marks Linyang Energy’s distribution products recognized by users of China Southern Power Grid.
