We can calculate as following: current = (300+350+1500+400+2000) W/220V≈20.6A. We will be able to install 5(60)A meters because of the possible addition of appliances in the future.

Generally, if only power needs to be checked, the workshops, small factories or commercial shops, just need to choose the ordinary electronic three-phase electricity meter, such as Linyang SM350, which has a variety of current specifications to choose, such as 1.5(6)A, 5(40)A, 10(60)A, etc., The maximum can be 100A. If the current of one phase exceeds 100A, it is recommended to use 1.5(6)A and transformer together. This type of meter is usually low voltage meter with voltage specification of 220/380V.
In the workshop of medium and large factories, the current is relatively large, and the single-phase current must exceed 100A. Moreover, large factories not only need to check the electricity degree, but also need to do a lot of data analysis, such as the analysis of power load curve, etc. Therefore, the ordinary active electronic electricity meter is far from meeting the needs of customers. This time we chose our three-phase smart meters or multi-functional electric meter. This kind of electric meter can reach the accuracy of 0.5s and 0.2s, with more precise measurement and relative economic price. This kind of electric meter has more powerful functions than electronic meters above, such as time-sharing metering and billing, monitoring measurement and event record functions, etc. Therefore, the price will be higher.
In case of a power plant metering user, substation users, three-phase three-wire high-voltage electric meter is probably needed. There are also some enterprises of high voltage, which use three-phase three-wire high voltage meter and three phase four wire voltage meter in the high voltage cabinet, and decide which one to use based on on-site requirements. Generally, the bigger the current to be measured is, the higher the accuracy required is and consequently, the higher the meter’s price becomes. The price of a 0.2S meter will be more than triple that of a 0.5S meter.
