Recently, Linyang Inner Mongolia Renewable Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Linyang”) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on “Photovoltaic+ Desertification Control” project with the People’s Government of Balin Right Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Huang Yanfeng, the deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Chifeng Municipal People’s Congress and secretary of the Committee of Balin Right Banner, Liu Cunxiang, the chairman of Balin Right Banner CPPCC, Li Chunlei, the deputy secretary of the Committee of Balin Right Banner, Tian Haifeng, the deputy director of Balin Right Government, Pei Jun, the vice president of Linyang Group, Shi Weibing, the vice general Manager of Linyang Energy and Ji Hongliang, the general manager of Liyang Heibei Energy and other relevant leaders attended the signing ceremony.
Before the signing ceremony, the two sides had an in-depth discussion on cooperation in the field of renewable energy. As for the “Photovoltaic + Desertification Control” project, the investment and construction will be carried out in stages after the preliminary investigation meets the investment requirements of Linyang and achieves the approval of the investment and decision-making department.
According to the agreement, the project will be invested and implemented by Linyang in stages. It is planned to complete the first-phase targets and filing procedures within one year. The development and construction of the “Photovoltaic + Desertification Control” project can both realize the large-scale utilization of renewable energy such as solar power, and also promote research on the influence of the ecological environment. It will play an active role in restoration of desert ecosystems and provide a new solution to the sustainable development of the renewable energy industry, which will effectively promote integrated development of renewable energy and ecological economy.
By signing the strategic cooperation agreement with the People’s Government of Balin Right Banner, Linyang could accelerate its expansion of “photovoltaic +” business. At present, developing renewable energy has become a common consensus and concerted action in the process of global energy reform and handling climate change. Since the era of photovoltaic parity, Linyang has now been on-grid and owned more than 1.5GW photovoltaic power stations, constructed photovoltaic power stations with parity and bidding of more than 1GW, and also operated more than 2GW photovoltaic power stations in total. Recently, President Xi Jinping has repeatedly mentioned that the carbon emissions would reach the peak before 2030 and the carbon neutrality could be realized before 2060, which is a historic moment for Chinese renewable energy industry. The target of carbon neutrality will force China’s energy transformation to accelerate significantly. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period and even longer, the growth rate of renewable energy will be much higher than before. Linyang will continue to practice with big efforts to follow the deployment of the central government in the development, construction and maintenance of projects to ensure the “stability on the six aspects and security in the six areas”. Maintaining security will deliver the stability needed to pursue progress, which is also the guiding Linyang’s all business. It will also fully participate in the construction of a benign ecological environment for coordinated industrial chain, and accelerate the development of global clean energy substituted solution, helping China to solve carbon emissions problems and achieve the goal of carbon neutrality.
