On June 12, 2019, CLP held the signing ceremony of CLP smart meter project at its headquarters in hung hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong. During the signing ceremony, Lu Yonghua, Linyang Group President and Linyang Energy Chairman and Hong Kong CLP power President T.K. Chiang signed Smart Meter Supply Agreement.
As an important partner of Hongkong CLP in the renovation project of 2.5 million smart electricity meter, Linyang will bring smart meter with advanced technology, reliable quality and designed based on IEC DLMS to the Hong Kong market, providing stable and reliable CLP power metering and energy management services, also contributing to the construction of Hong Kong smart grid and wisdom city.
In the signing ceremony, T.K. Chiang, the President of Hong Kong CLP said, the CLP smart meter project is an important part of CLP smart grid construction and wisdom city. CLP is committed to meeting the challenges of energy demand in the Asia-pacific region in a sustainable way. CLP will provide Hong Kong citizens a higher level of service by relying on the advanced smart meters and AMI system.
