With the theme of “Leading, Innovation and Empowering”, 2018 First China PV Industry Leading Forum was held in Sihong County Jiangsu Province on 20 October 2018. More than 400 guests of PV industry exports, leading entrepreneurs, industry authorities and industry elites etc. gathered at Sihong, discussing new trends of global PV development.
Guests visited the state-level Sihong photovoltaic power base. With the total investment of 4 billion RMB and covering areas of 15390 acres, the annual power generation capacity of Sihong base reaches as high as 650 million kWh and its annual tax revenue reaches as high as 50 million RMB. Meanwhile, it can save 260,000 tons of coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 640,000 tons per year.

Yu Changgui, director of the Development and Reform Bureau of Sihong County, introduced the three-dimensional operation mode of “fishing and solar hybrid system” of water photovoltaic power generation and underwater fishery in Sihong base, which effectively promoted the adjustment of the fishery industry structure and changed the farming mode, optimize the breeding mode and realize the new ecological pattern of “winning the industry, the wealth of the people and the beauty of the ecology”.
After the on-site observation, the guests visited Sihong Smart Photovoltaic Data Monitoring Center. Sihong Smart Photovoltaic Data Testing Center covers an area of 1,708 square meters. It displays the current clean energy-photovoltaic development overview in 7 theme exhibition halls of solar energy, photovoltaic science, Photovoltaic Leading Base and the development and glory of some photovoltaic energy companies.

The guests also visited the “Intelligent Manufacturing” factory of Sihong Linyang Photovoltaic, and visited the fully automatic intelligent production workshop of N-type double-sided photovoltaic battery components that are currently in the international leading position. With the introduction from Shen Hui, the deputy secretary of Linyang Energy Party Committee, the “Intelligent Manufacturing” workshop built by Lin Yang Energy impressed guests greatly with its advanced intelligent equipment in Photovoltaic Full-automatic workshop.
