    News - Electricity Metering Operating Parameters

    To be familiarized with the terms used when operating basic parameters in the meter

    FUNCTION : Time-of-Use

    ACTIVE CALENDAR: current active calendar the meter is using.

    PASSIVE CALENDAR: reserve calendar the meter will use.

    Notes:

    Passive Calendar can be activated in 2 ways:

    - scheduled

    - immediate

    Different tariff can be set during special holidays.

     

    FUNCTION : RTC (Real Time Clock)

    This function includes the following:

    -Time zone
    -Time Synchronization
    -Daylight Saving Time (DST)
    a.Time Zone – observes the uniform standard time in a specific country.

    eg. Latvia: -480 minutes (-8hrs)

    b. Time Synchronization – allowing the meter’s time to be the same as the system time.

    c. Daylight Saving Time – advancing the time during summertime to conserve electricity.

    FUNCTION : Monthly Billing

    Configurable parameters and date/time in the billing

    Ways to get the monthly bill:

    1.Immediate
    2.Scheduled

    FUNCTION : Relay Dis/Connection

    1.Status: Connect, Disconnect, Ready for Connection
    2. Modes: There are different modes according to type of meter.

    3. Situations: There are several situations/way on how to connect / disconnect the relays.

     

     

    FUNCTION : Load Management Control

    Used to control the relay status whenever these situations happened.

    1.Manual
    2.Schedule
    3.Limiter
    4.Fuse Supervision /Demand

    Relay Dis/connection Situations:

    1.Manual – controlled by HES ; unpaid users/ exhaust credit
