The Qidong Yongqing Energy Storage Project is an 88MW/176MWh energy storage power station located in Hezuo Town, Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, China.

The energy storage station operates at a voltage level of 110kV. The energy storage system utilizes 306Ah LFP cells, with a total configuration of 22 PCS and 43 liquid-cooled energy storage containers.

The project is constructed on a material storage yard within an industrial park, covering an area of approximately 15 acres(10,000m), with the energy storage cell prefabricated container area occupying about 6.75 acres(4,500m). The project began construction in December 2023 and successfully achieved full-capacity grid connection at 2:22 AM on July 10, 2024, with all equipment operating normally.

As one of the first coastal energy storage projects in Jiangsu Province, this project will provide energy storage support for renewable energy sources within the province, particularly coastal photovoltaic and wind power. It will enhance grid operation efficiency after large-scale renewable energy integration and has significant importance for the safe and stable operation of the grid.
