Linyang Energy Signs Strategic Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with SMD Semiconductor

Linyang Energy has signed a strategic Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with SMD Semiconductor, marking a milestone in cross-border collaboration between semiconductors and new energy.

The MoA was signed by Dato Sri Dr. Wan Lizozman bin Wan Omar, Chairman of SMD Semiconductor, and Mr. Lu Yonghua, Founder and President of Linyang Group, and witnessed by Deputy Premier of Sarawak Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah bin Ali Hasan during the Sarawak Investment Mission to Shanghai.

The partnership will explore the integration of power semiconductor technologies, including GaN, with smart metering and BESS applications, while jointly advancing solar and energy storage opportunities across Southeast Asia.

By combining SMD's semiconductor innovation with Linyang Energy's expertise in smart energy, energy storage and global market deployment, Linyang Energy looks forward to turning technology into real-world applications and accelerating the deployment of innovative energy solutions across global markets.
