Linyang Intelligent O&M and Hohai University Joint Project Recognized as Reaching Internationally Advanced Level

Recently, the project titled “Key Technologies and Application of Digital Twin Intelligent O&M for PV Power Plants under Complex Conditions,” undertaken by Hohai University, successfully passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal organized by the Jiangsu Renewable Energy Society. The expert panel concluded that the project’s main outcomes have reached the international advanced level.

 

Jiangsu Linyang Intelligent O&M Technology Co., Ltd., as a major application partner, played a crucial role in the project’s practical implementation and engineering validation, providing strong support for the commercialization and promotion of the results.

Three Core Technological Innovations

The project integrates digital twin, artificial intelligence, and refined modeling technologies to address operation and maintenance challenges under complex PV scenarios.

 

  • l  Spatiotemporal Digital Twin System: Breaks through the traditional limitation of digital twins by enabling precise historical state reconstruction of PV plants in both time and space dimensions, supporting fault tracing and performance degradation analysis.

  • l  Multi-Factor Irradiance Model: Establishes an accurate irradiance calculation model for complex terrains and bifacial modules, significantly improving the precision of power simulation and performance evaluation.

  • l  AI-Driven Intelligent Diagnosis: Combines drone-based EL imaging and AI algorithms to automatically identify, diagnose, and locate PV module and string faults, improving both efficiency and reliability.
