News - Smart DIN rail meter –SM120

Definition

 Smart DIN rail electricity meters are Prepayment energy meters which are fully compliant with IEC standards and used to measure unidirectional AC active and reactive energy with frequency of 50Hz/60Hz for residential, industrial and commercial customers.
It offers reliable performance and versatile functionality, with integrated communication modules supporting uplink connection with data concentrator (DCU) for energy data collection by 2G or PLC technology.

Main features

Energy Measurement

  • The meter supports unidirectional measurement for active energy, reactive energy by using 2 measurement elements
  • Shunt element on phase line
  • CT on neutral line

Supply Quality Monitoring

Network quality information monitoring includes:

  • Instantaneous voltage, current, power factor, and frequency data monitoring
  • Instantaneous power quantity monitoring (active, reactive, apparent)

Max Demand

  • Max demand calculation based on window method
  • Monthly max demand, for active and reactive power

Load Profile

  • Max 6720 entries can be recorded for active energy, reactive energy,
  • current demand on active and reactive

End of Billing

  • 12 registers for monthly billing
  • Billing date/time configurable

Time of Use

  • 6 tariffs for active/reactive energy and Max Demand
  • 10 time division of each day
  • 8 day profile, 4 week profiles, 4 season profiles and 100 special days

Event and Alarm

  • Event recording are categorized by 10 main groups
  • Up to 100 events can be recorded
  • Event Report (Alarm) can be configurable

Communication Interface

  • Optical port according to IEC62056-21
  • Remote communication interface supports PLC channel with DCU

Data Security

  • 3 levels of password access authorities
  • AES 128 encryption algorithm for data transmission
  • Bi-directional authentication by using GMAC algorithm

  • Wrong Connection detection

Firmware upgrade ability

  • Local and remote upgrade ability allowing the meter to be easily extensible and future-proof

Interoperability

  • Comply with DLMS/COSEM IEC 62056 standards, ensuring true communication technology interoperability and increased options for utilities

Status Indicators (LED)-CIU

  • Tampering Indicator: Indicate the tampering events.
  • Credit indicator: Not lit up means Balance Credit ≥ Alarm Credit 1;

1. Yellow means Balance Credit ≥ Alarm Credit 2 and Balance Credit ≤ Alarm Credit 1;
2. Red means Balance Credit

  •  ≥Alarm Credit 3 and Balance Credit ≤ Alarm Credit2;
  •        3. Red blinking when Balance Credit≤ Alarm Credit3.
  • Com indicator: Indicate the communication statue. lit means CIU is in communication, blinking means communication out time.
